What do you achieve?

A child with an understanding of time will be a more confident child and will make a big step forward in being independent. Children find it very important to be independent, for example to be able to start and end a task in school independently or tiding his/her room for 10 minutes or to be able to play outside for half an hour without someone telling them time is up. Research has shown that children with a poor understanding of time feel less assure of themselves, the more confidence a child has the better he/she will feel. The Catch the time method will give the child more confidence. An important side effect is that their fine motor skills of their writing hand are being improved every time they set their watch. Poor handwriting will be improved.
